Lisa Stamos

About Lisa

Glenwood artist, Lisa Stamos started painting professionally three years ago when a medical condition affecting her eyesight dramatically changed her direction in life.

Her passion and inspiration for painting comes from life’s experiences relating to colour and, the beauty and the often harsh reality of our animal kingdom while the texture of pastels lends itself to the softness and fragility of life.

Especially inspired by endangered species and the environment that affects their habitats and future existence, Lisa depicts her feelings through her paintings.

Lisa raises funds for various wildlife organizations through the sale of her paintings and endeavours to raise awareness for the plight of our planet as she feels we are on the verge of doing to ourselves what we have been doing to our animals for many years.
