Hetty lives in the Sunshine Coast hinterland on the Blackall Range where she now has an art studio.

In her paintings, Hetty's unique style is inspired by the beautiful gardens, the lush and peaceful surroundings that Hetty has created, as well as by the people,their culture and places from her travels. Hetty paints traditional and contemporary watercolours, mixed media, large acrylics and oils on canvas with skillful use of colour and flair.

Hetty will be conducting classes and organising workshops at her studio in 2008. Hetty has travelled widely, won many awards and her works are in private collections around Australia and overseas.
